Job summary

Oddball is hiring a Lead Front End Engineer to lead the frontend of a healthcare CMS BDAMAX application, using TypeScript and React in a fully remote environment.

You will guide architecture, champion accessibility (WCAG/Section 508), mentor engineers, integrate AI coding tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude, and Gemini, and collaborate with backend teams on REST APIs for a government-facing product.

Qualifications

• 5+ years frontend engineering experience with TS/React.
• Leadership experience including code reviews and mentoring.
• Strong accessibility knowledge (WCAG/Section 508).
• Test-first mindset and reliable software delivery.
• Experience with AI-native development tools and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and iterate on a healthcare frontend using TS/React.
• Guide frontend architecture and review PRs to ensure quality.
• Mentor engineers and support team growth.
• Embed WCAG/Section 508 accessibility into the product.
• Collaborate with backend teams on RESTful API integration and delivery.
