Job summary

Xcede is seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer to join their senior engineering team and lead deployments end-to-end for enterprise AI infrastructure. This role is fully remote with client-site travel and offers direct customer exposure, embedding with enterprise engineering, platform, and security teams.

You'll build integrations, configure policies and dashboards, troubleshoot production issues, and influence the product roadmap while contributing production code.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software engineering with customer-facing exposure.
• Strong Python and TypeScript skills.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker, especially in secure/on-prem environments.
• Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, MCP, AI/ML infra, or observability tooling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise deployments from initial integration through production.
• Build integrations and adapters across agent frameworks, model providers, and observability stacks.
• Configure policies, evaluators, and dashboards for customer environments.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues across AI and enterprise infrastructure.
• Turn customer requirements and field learnings into product improvements.
• Work closely with the founders, Product, and Engineering to influence the roadmap.
• Contribute directly to production code.
