Job summary

The Noble Law is seeking an experienced Lead Attorney in employment law to manage complex client matters across state lines, including North Carolina, South Carolina, New York, and the District of Columbia. The role involves pre-litigation to trial work, supervising a legal team, and driving outcomes with integrity and empathy.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in employment litigation, strong negotiation, and tech proficiency (Salesforce, MS Office, legal AI).

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school with active NC license or eligibility for prompt admission
• Minimum of 5 years’ employment law experience including litigation
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, rules of civil procedure, and rules of evidence
• Powerful negotiation skills and excellent interpersonal communication
• Independent, proactive, and adaptive case management skills; tech-savvy including Salesforce and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in agency proceedings (EEOC, NC DOL, NLRB, etc.)
• Litigate in arbitration, trial, and on appeal
• Collaborate with the legal team to manage matters: client communication, document reviews, evidence gathering, witness interviews, legal research, strategy development
• Maintain organized client files and meet deadlines; draft pleadings and responses; negotiate settlements
• Participate in hearings and full evidentiary proceedings including trials
