Qualifications

Role Description

The Lead Attorney will provide strategic legal counsel in labor and employment matters, manage complex cases, and oversee litigation from intake through resolution in a full-time capacity. This role is based in Raleigh, NC, with the option to work remotely. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising clients on employment law issues, conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing pleadings and motions, and negotiating settlements and agreements. The Lead Attorney will supervise legal staff, collaborate on case strategy, and support business development and firm initiatives aligned with The Noble Law’s mission and values. The role requires close partnership with clients, clear communication, and consistent alignment with the firm’s commitment to empathy, integrity, and innovation.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in law with specialized expertise in Labor and Employment Law.


• Demonstrated ability to provide clear, practical legal advice to clients across a range of employment issues.


• Advanced research skills to analyze statutes, regulations, case law, and evolving trends in employment law.


• Proven negotiation skills for resolving disputes, mediating conflicts, and securing favorable settlements.


• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in North Carolina, or eligibility for prompt admission.


• Several years of experience handling employment law matters, including litigation, counseling, and dispute resolution.


• Leadership experience managing cases, mentoring legal teams, and coordinating with support staff.


• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills, including drafting pleadings, briefs, and client communications.
