Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer for Power Generation to lead electrical engineering activities supporting refurbishment, conversion, and deployment of gas turbine generating units for data center and industrial power applications.

The role focuses on generator condition assessment, protective relay systems, excitation systems, and electrical equipment specifications. You will review vendor documentation, provide technical leadership during testing and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
10+ years of electrical engineering experience in power generation.
Strong knowledge of synchronous generators, protective relay systems, and excitation systems.
Ability to evaluate test data, assess equipment condition, and develop recommendations.
Strong technical writing skills for specifications and assessments.
Demonstrated ability to lead technical reviews and coordinate activities.

Responsibilities

Lead generator condition assessments using testing data and inspections.
Recommend repairs, rewinds, or replacements based on condition and test results.
Set technical requirements for inspections, conversions, and uprate projects.
Review generator shop reports, test results, and OEM requirements.
Specify and verify AVR and PSS settings and protection schemes.
Oversee testing and commissioning including relay testing and synchronization.
Coordinate with various teams to resolve technical issues and maintain quality.
