Job summary
Foth is seeking a Lead Electrical and Controls Engineer to lead hardware and software design for industrial projects, including PLC/SCADA, HMI, and servo motion systems. This role supports construction, start-up, and field service from Green Bay or US-based remote locations.
The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of manufacturing experience and a strong track record in Rockwell/Allen-Bradley platforms, electrical schematics, and project leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with applicable training
- 10+ years of engineering/design experience in manufacturing environments
- Experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLC/SCADA platforms
- Strong leadership and project design package development abilities
Responsibilities
- Provide hardware and software design leadership for industrial projects
- Develop design packages for bid and construction
- Coordinate and execute PLC/DCS, HMI, VFD and servo projects from design to start-up
- Lead design/CAD resources and interface with clients
- Develop machine design hardware/software for consumer and industrial markets
- Prepare construction and installation documentation and cost estimates
- Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and client requests, including after-hours as needed
- Travel to client sites and offices as required (~35% annually)
