Job summary

EdReports.org is seeking a remote Lead, Reviews (Early Math) to oversee pre-K and early elementary mathematics reviews. The role reports to the Managing Director, Pre-K and collaborators across content teams to ensure evidence-based, standards-aligned instructional materials are reviewed.

The ideal candidate will train reviewer teams, calibrate assessments, and engage publishers to strengthen review tools while influencing curriculum decisions nationwide.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in Pre-K–5 mathematics, with focus on Pre-K–3 learning and development.
• At least seven years of professional experience in curriculum design, instruction, coaching, research, assessment, or program leadership.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with instructional materials reviews is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support pre-K instructional material reviews, ensuring alignment to standards and EdReports criteria.
• Train and calibrate educator-reviewers to produce reliable, evidence-rich reviews.
• Collaborate across teams to update early mathematics review tools and processes.
• Provide guidance and coaching to review teams on criteria and processes.
• Engage with publishers and external partners to communicate the review process.
• Explain EdReports tools and outcomes to educators, districts, states, and partner nonprofits.
