Job summary

EdReports.org is seeking a Lead, Reviews with deep expertise in early mathematics to oversee pre-K–5 review work and ensure evidence-rich, standards-aligned materials. You will guide reviewers, calibrate across teams, and refine tools based on research and feedback to support educators and decision makers nationwide.

This role partners with publishers and schools, driving high-quality instruction and equity in curriculum reviews, while aligning with EdReports’ criteria and impact goals.

Qualifications

• At least seven years of professional experience in curriculum design, instruction, coaching, research, assessment, or program leadership.
• Deep knowledge of Pre-K-5 mathematics standards, developmental and learning progressions.
• Experience with early mathematics curriculum and instructional materials.
• Strong understanding of current research and best practices related to early mathematics learning and development.
• Ability to analyze complex instructional materials and synthesize evidence for diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multiple complex, cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional written and spoken communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in Google Suite, MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• College degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the review of pre-K instructional materials, including development of pre-k mathematics reviews.
• Train and support educator-reviewers, ensuring calibration across teams.
• Collaborate to update and refine early mathematics review tools and processes based on research and feedback.
• Provide expert guidance and coaching to review teams, navigating the review process.
• Apply expertise in early mathematics to support analysis of instructional materials.
• Engage with external stakeholders, including publishers, to communicate the review process.
• Explain EdReports tools and review results to educators, districts, states, and partner organizations.
