Placements24 is seeking a visionary Remote Lead Data Scientist to spearhead advanced analytics initiatives. You will guide the development and deployment of sophisticated ML models and statistical analyses that influence product strategy and business decisions.

You will mentor a team of data scientists, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure data pipelines, feature engineering, and experiments are executed at scale in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master's in a quantitative field required.
• 8+ years in data science or ML, with 3+ years in lead roles.
• Strong expertise in statistical modeling and ML algorithms with experimental design.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of advanced ML models and analyses.
• Mentor and guide a remote team of data scientists.
• Translate business problems into data science frameworks and actionable insights.
• Develop and implement data pipelines and feature engineering processes.
