Job summary

Huron Consulting Group seeks a Lead Data Engineer to design, deploy, and operate scalable data pipelines and services for healthcare analytics platforms. The role focuses on translating business and analytical requirements into reliable data solutions and requires strong software engineering discipline.

You will work closely with a Solution Architect and product leadership, mentor other data engineers, and ensure reliability, performance, and ongoing support for production systems across the

Qualifications

• U.S. work authorization required.
• B.S. degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• 6+ years of Python and SQL experience.
• 6+ years of experience with Cloud Technologies (AWS).
• Experience with version control systems (Git, Subversion).
• Excellent written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
• Motivated self-starter able to learn quickly and work in a multi-discipline team.

Responsibilities

• Designing and providing level of effort estimates for changes to the Insights applications.
• Developing high quality modifications to the application source code, processes, and architecture.
• Delivering fully tested code prior to prod-deployment when appropriate.
• Troubleshooting bugs and issues in the application.
• Coordinating with other engineers to ensure platform changes meet business needs.
• Recommending and implementing enhancements to improve platform performance and availability.
• Maintaining updated documentation of system and solution designs and providing training as needed.
