Ladders is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to design and deliver scalable data products enabling informed decision-making across internal teams. The role guides end-to-end data pipelines, strengthens data quality, and helps set engineering standards for a high-performing data environment.

The position is remote in the United States and offers compensation ranging from $109,500 to $167,833 per year. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product and delivery leadership, and ensure data

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• 6+ years of experience building production data pipelines and consumer-facing models.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL with a hands-on approach.
• Experience with Databricks and Spark-based lakehouses, including Delta Lake.
• Deep understanding of dimensional modeling techniques.
• Proven technical leadership experience in a data engineering context.
• Experience managing data dependencies between teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end design of data products, from ingestion to consumer use
• Own and maintain data contracts between the engineering team and consumers
• Set engineering standards for various technologies and ensure quality
• Conduct rigorous code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
• Manage operational aspects of data pipelines and ensure observability and performance
• Collaborate with the Product Owner and Scrum Master on project milestones
• Mentor and support the growth of engineers within the pod
