Redwood Logistics is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to lead a team of data engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, a data vault, and multiple data warehouses and marts. You will work with stakeholders across departments to deliver key metrics and help define data strategy.

The role emphasizes mentorship, sprint planning, and collaboration, with a focus on modern data architectures and reliable data delivery across North America and Mexico.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years of technology experience with data engineering and analytics
• Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers
• Manage backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritization for data projects
• Collaborate with stakeholders to set and execute data strategy
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines from various sources
• Develop and maintain Data Vault, Data Warehouse, and Data Marts to deliver metrics
• Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and monitoring processes
