Job summary

Redwood Logistics is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to lead a team of data engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, a data vault, and data warehouses. You will collaborate with stakeholders across departments to deliver key metrics and establish data strategy.

The role requires 8+ years of tech experience, strong SQL, and advanced Python skills, with experience in Snowflake, AWS, Azure, and data integration tools. Remote work within the U.S. is supported.

Qualifications

• 8+ years technology experience with data engineering and related platforms.
• Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills.
• Proficient in Python and data stack libraries (Pandas, NumPy, etc.).
• Experience with cloud data platforms and ETL tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers and manage project backlogs.
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, vaults, warehouses, and marts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver key metrics across departments.
• Improve deployment, data validation, and monitoring processes.
