Job summary

Fulton Bank is seeking a Lead Data Architect for a fully remote role with occasional travel to Lancaster, PA. You will define and maintain data architecture, handle modeling, and oversee metadata and MDM initiatives, while guiding a team of data professionals.

The role requires 7+ years in data architecture leadership, a computer science-focused degree, and senior-level experience in data integration and BI support. Travel to HQ may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Computer Science, Computer Information Science. (Required)
• Master's Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Computer Science, Computer Information Science. (Preferred)
• 7+ years in Lead Data Architect, Big Data Solution Architect, or Sr. Big Data Architect roles.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain corporate data architecture and related standards.
• Lead data modeling and source-to-target mapping for database development projects.
• Design and manage metadata management policies and data dictionaries.
• Provide guidance to team members and ensure adherence to IT governance standards.
• Mentor junior Data Architects and contribute to data oriented development projects.
