Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a senior professional to lead a team focused on clinical data abstraction, synthesis, and analysis to support enterprise quality projects. This role ensures registry compliance with state and federal requirements and drives data reporting accuracy across multiple service lines.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare field, 3+ years in quality/registry with supervisory experience, and strong analytical and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in quality, abstraction, registry with 1 year of supervisory experience leading a team; healthcare environment.
• Knowledgeable and proficient in the use of software, data quality, data management, and presentation.
• 5 years of orthopedic and/or trauma experience, such as in the OR, Med Surg, ER, ICU.

Responsibilities

• Manages a team to provide clinical synthesis, distribution, and analysis of internal and comparative data in support of system strategic, operational and quality projects.
• Oversees development and implementation of interoperability and validity processes for abstraction, entry and submission, and data reporting tools.
• Coordinates management oversight of registries across the enterprise to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of databases.
• Leads and collaborates with service lines on improvement plans and prepares for inspections and accreditation processes.
