Job summary

Maximus in Jacksonville, NC, is seeking a senior psychology consultant to lead high-impact psychology programs for DoD-related initiatives. The role blends clinical expertise with strategic program design and performance evaluation.

You will supervise complex client engagements, develop assessment methodologies, analyze data, and deliver actionable recommendations to senior leaders while adhering to APA ethics and DoD/MTF guidelines. Doctorate preferred.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program
• Master's or Doctoral-level licensure prerequisites as applicable
• Internship/residency accredited by APA is completed
• Minimum of 10+ years of relevant professional experience or 8+ with Master’s or 6+ with PhD
• License/credentialing requirements per DoD/MTF guidelines

Responsibilities

• Provide expert psychological consultation to clients, stakeholders, and project teams
• Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of psychology-based programs
• Develop and enhance assessment methodologies, tools, and processes
• Conduct and interpret individual, team, and organizational assessments
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends and inform decisions
• Serve as a subject matter expert in psychology and human performance
• Lead complex client engagements and provide evidence-based recommendations
• Practice within APA ethics and licensing guidelines and MTF privileges
• Produce reports of evaluation and treatment as required
