Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Senior Clinical Psychologist to provide advanced clinical expertise supporting high-performance operational environments. You will deliver psychological assessment, consultation, performance optimization, and resilience services designed to enhance workforce readiness and mission success.

This role requires U.S. citizenship and an active Secret security clearance or eligibility for one.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 10+ years of professional experience required; Master’s degree with 8+ years or PhD with 6+ years of related experience.
  • Active US citizenship and eligibility for Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert psychological consultation to clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
  • Lead design, implementation, and evaluation of psychology-based programs and initiatives.
  • Develop and enhance assessment methodologies, tools, and processes to support organizational objectives.
  • Conduct and interpret individual, team, and organizational assessments and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to address complex challenges.

Job description

Maximus is seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist to provide advanced clinical expertise supporting high-performance operational environments. In this role, you will deliver psychological assessment, consultation, performance optimization, and resilience services designed to enhance workforce readiness, organizational effectiveness, and mission success.

This position is pending upon contract award.

U.S. citizenship is required. Candidates must possess an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance or be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance as required for contract performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide expert psychological consultation and guidance to clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of psychology-based programs, services, and initiatives.
  • Develop and enhance assessment methodologies, tools, and processes to support organizational and workforce objectives.
  • Conduct and interpret individual, team, and/or organizational assessments and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends, evaluate outcomes, and inform decision-making.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in psychology, behavioral science, and human performance.
  • Lead complex client engagements and influence strategic decisions through evidence-based recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to address complex challenges and achieve project objectives.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and thought leadership to colleagues and clients.
