Job summary

Paylocity, a leading cloud-based HR and payroll software provider, seeks a Lead Client Funds Accounting to oversee CFA analysts and ensure accurate client funds reconciliations.

The role is fully remote within the U.S. with a strong emphasis on process improvement, collaboration with product and audit teams, and maintaining high internal controls. Requires 5+ years in payroll/service banking and 3+ years in reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in a payroll service or banking operations.
• 3+ years in service bureau account reconciliations.
• Experience managing and mentoring staff preferred.
• MasterTax Software experience.
• Proficiency in MS applications including Excel and Access.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities of staff, including daily/weekly reconciliations.
• Mentor and evaluate staff performance; provide training.
• Collaborate with Product Team on new initiatives and testing.
• Ensure cash across client base is monitored; mitigate risks.
• Develop internal controls and policies to improve efficiency and scale.
• Support SOX/SOC compliance documentation requests.
