Job summary

Pearson is seeking a strategic and hands-on Lead Specialist- AI Scientist to design, build, deploy, and scale production AI/ML capabilities powering learner intelligence, recommendations, and knowledge graphs. You will bridge AI research with product delivery, leading models from concept to production and continuous improvement.

The role requires 5+ years in production AI, cloud-native experience, and strong collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and deploying production AI/ML systems.
• Strong experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and knowledge graphs.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native AI platforms and MLOps.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, deployment, and operation of production AI capabilities.
• Design Generative AI, LLM, RAG, and agentic AI solutions with measurable impact.
• Build reusable AI platform components and APIs for rapid adoption across Pearson products.
• Own end-to-end AI delivery lifecycle from experiments to production.
