We seek a Lead AI/ML Engineer to design, architect, and implement high‑performance, event‑driven backend systems and intelligent automation for distributed clinical applications, collaborating with data teams to deliver secure API solutions.

You will drive CI/CD automation, containerization, and cloud deployments with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS/Azure, building observability and best practices across teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, software engineering, data engineering, or automation engineering with hands‑on production delivery
• 3+ years building solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), generative AI, prompt engineering, or retrieval‑augmented‑systems (RAG)
• 3+ years building event‑driven backend components using Apache Kafka
• 3+ years experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) via Spring Data JPA and Hibernate
• 3+ years hands‑on experience implementing API security protocols, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, and OAuth Client Credentials
• 2+ years experience developing agentic AI systems (multi‑step reasoning, orchestration, tool‑calling)
• Hands‑on experience with modern AI orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI, cloud AI)
• Experience deploying scalable AI solutions in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) using microservices/containers/serverless

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable backend services and AI/ML integrations across distributed clinical apps
• Build event-driven backend components using Kafka and integrate with Oracle/PostgreSQL/MySQL
• Apply expertise in API security protocols to secure microservices and endpoints
• Lead CI/CD pipeline automation, containerization, and cloud deployment strategies using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infra
• Establish end‑to‑end monitoring, logging, and observability across distributed systems
• Drive engineering best practices, design reviews, and code quality across the team
• Collaborate with data scientists and product stakeholders to operationalize AI solutions into production environments
