Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to architect generative AI workflows that accelerate cloud configuration and remediation.

You will guide AI enablement initiatives, mentor engineers across a distributed, follow-the-sun team, and design scalable IaC and policy automation in Terraform and Rego. Responsibilities include shaping AI architecture, implementing drift detection and continuous discovery, and leading the Cloud Security Tooling team's AI efforts using RAG, vector databases,

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience developing applications on public cloud infrastructure.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure deployment pipelines and IaC.
• 2+ years of experience developing Agentic models using RAG and vector databases.
• Proven capability of technical leadership in a global organization.
• Proven capability to lead and mentor engineers in a distributed, asynchronous model.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• AI Architecture & Strategy: architect Generative AI workflows using RAG, vector databases, and LLM APIs to automate Terraform modules and policies.
• Cloud Security Automation: drift detection, continuous discovery, and remediation acceleration.
• Policy & IaC: generate and validate Terraform modules, Rego policies, and Regula test cases for CI/CD.
• Technical Leadership: lead the Cloud Security Tooling team's AI enablement initiatives and design extensible service architectures.
