Heal Street Wellness Center in Jersey City, New Jersey, seeks a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a full-time remote role. You will provide individual and group therapy to diverse clients and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

The position emphasizes compassionate, evidence-based care, thorough assessments, and treatment planning in line with ethical standards. NJ LCSW license and MSW are required; 2+ years in a clinical setting preferred.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field is required.
• Current LCSW licensure in New Jersey is mandatory.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload.
• Competency in age-specific and specialty issues relevant to the populations served.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions for clients.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and formulate effective treatment plans.
• Work collaboratively with team members in shared decision-making to achieve goals.
• Demonstrate cultural competence by effectively interacting with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Monitor progress of clients throughout treatment and modify care plans as needed.
• Engage in crisis intervention when required, employing evidence-based methods to stabilize clients.
• Ensure compliance with agency policies, ethical standards, and timely documentation.
• Contribute to internal quality improvement initiatives and committees.
• Stay informed about new developments in social work and mental health.
