Job summary

AthenaPsych is seeking a professional and compassionate Clinical Supervisor to join our growing team. Flexible hours with one weekend day and some evenings; in-person and telehealth sessions are conducted by our clinicians.

Provide weekly supervision to therapists, manage licensure paperwork, and help develop training in partnership with the leadership team. Office locations include Manhattan, Bronx, Rochester or remote work options for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Must hold NY licensure as mental health provider.
• Experience supervising therapists in a clinic setting.
• Familiar with NY OMH outpatient regulations and HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly clinical supervision to therapists and document sessions in a timely manner.
• Complete NYS licensure paperwork for supervisees as applicable.
• Assist with the development and facilitation of clinical training for staff with leadership.
• Collaborate with Clinical Director to cover administrative tasks and performance management.
• Review high‑risk cases and provide clinical solutions as appropriate.
• Engage in Utilization Review monthly for assigned cases.
• Respond to clinical crises and other issues raised by supervisees.
• Help develop and improve clinical policies and procedures to support program success.
• Maintain a reduced caseload and complete all documentation promptly.
