Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a Law and Motion Associate - Of Counsel for a fully remote position available in Reston, VA. The role focuses on motion practice across litigation matters, including demand letters, records requests, and agency/administrative charges.

It is non-Principal track and nationwide across states where the firm has offices. The ideal candidate will have a California JD, CA State Bar admission, and extensive CA experience, with strong research, drafting, and organizational

Qualifications

• Admitted to the California State Bar and in good standing.
• Juris Doctor degree required.
• 4+ years of employment litigation experience in CA for Associate role consideration.
• 9+ years of relevant CA experience for Of Counsel level consideration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft briefs/motions, including dispositive and discovery motions.
• Draft trial motions and assist with preparing trial documents.
• Research and draft appellate briefs.
• Draft and respond to pleadings and discovery.
• Prepare mediation briefs.
• Collaborate with the firm’s Professional Development team to deliver work product to clients.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by firm leadership.
