Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Law and Motion Associate - Of Counsel for a fully remote position based in Minneapolis, MN. The role focuses on handling motion work in litigation, drafting demand letters and responses to agency charges.

Candidates must have a JD, CA bar admission, and extensive employment litigation experience. For Associate: at least 4 years; For Of Counsel: at least 9 years with first-chair capacity.

Qualifications

• Admission to the California State Bar and compliance with ethical requirements.
• Good standing with the bar.
• 4+ years of experience in California employment litigation for Associate role.
• 9+ years of relevant experience for Of Counsel role, with first chair capacity.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft briefs and motions, including dispositive and discovery motions.
• Draft trial motions and assist with preparing trial documents.
• Research and draft appellate briefs.
• Draft and respond to pleadings and discovery.
• Prepare mediation briefs.
• Collaborate with the firm's Professional Development team to deliver work product to clients.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by firm leadership.
