Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a Law and Motion Associate - Of Counsel for a fully remote role based in Albuquerque, NM. The position centers on motion work in litigation, including drafting demand letters and responding to agency charges, with nationwide availability wherever the firm maintains an office.

The ideal candidate has a JD, CA bar admission, and substantial California employment litigation experience for Associate or Of Counsel levels, along with strong drafting and research skills and MS

Qualifications

• JD required; CA bar admission in good standing.
• Minimum 4 years of California employment litigation for Associate consideration.
• At least 9 years of relevant experience for Of Counsel with first chair capacity.
• Strong organizational and drafting abilities; attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and research skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft briefs and motions, including dispositive and discovery motions.
• Draft trial motions and prepare trial documents.
• Research and draft appellate briefs.
• Draft and respond to pleadings and discovery.
• Prepare mediation briefs.
• Collaborate with the firm's Professional Development team to deliver work products to clients.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by firm leadership.
