Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is looking for a Law and Motion Associate - Of Counsel for a fully remote position based in Portland, OR. The role focuses on handling motion work for litigation matters, which includes drafting demand letters and responding to agency charges.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in California employment litigation and be ready to collaborate with the Professional Development team.

Qualifications

• Admission to the CA state bar and compliance with ethical requirements.
• Good standing with the bar.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in California employment litigation for Associate role.
• At least 9 years of relevant experience for Of Counsel role, with first chair capacity.
• Ability to prioritize and balance competing demands in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft briefs and motions.
• Draft trial motions and assist with preparing trial documents.
• Research and draft appellate briefs.
• Draft and respond to pleadings and discovery.
• Prepare mediation briefs.
• Collaborate with the Professional Development team.
