Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a Law and Motion Associate - Of Counsel for a fully remote role based in Melville, NY. The attorney will handle motion work across litigation matters, including demand letters, records requests, and agency/administrative charges.

The position requires CA bar admission, strong drafting and research skills, and a track record in California employment litigation for Associates or substantial experience for Of Counsel.

Qualifications

• Admitted to the California State Bar.
• Good standing with the bar.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in California employment litigation for Associate role.
• At least 9+ years of relevant California experience for Of Counsel role.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize, balance competing demands, and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional communication, legal research, and drafting abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft briefs and motions, including dispositive and discovery motions.
• Draft trial motions and assist with preparing trial documents.
• Research and draft appellate briefs.
• Draft and respond to pleadings and discovery.
• Prepare mediation briefs.
• Collaborate with the Professional Development team to deliver work product to clients.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by firm leadership.
