Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Law and Motion Associate - Of Counsel for a fully remote position available nationwide, including in Los Angeles, CA. The role focuses on motion work in litigation, with opportunities to handle appellate briefs and drafting of pleadings and discovery documents.

The ideal candidate holds a JD and CA bar admission, with 4+ years of California employment litigation for the Associate track or 9+ years for Of Counsel, with first chair experience, and strong drafting

Qualifications

• Admitted to the California State Bar in good standing.
• 4+ years of experience in California employment litigation for Associate role.
• 9+ years of relevant experience for Of Counsel role, with first chair capacity.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft briefs/motions, including dispositive and discovery motions.
• Draft trial motions and assist with preparing trial documents.
• Research and draft appellate briefs.
• Draft and respond to pleadings and discovery.
• Prepare mediation briefs.
• Collaborate with the Professional Development team to deliver work product to clients.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by firm leadership.
