Remote Law Firm Marketing & Business Development Manager

Builden Partners is seeking contract Marketing & Business Development Managers to lead marketing strategies for our expanding roster of law firm clients.

Builden is changing the way law firms think about marketing. Our innovative Marketing Infrastructure Model resonates with attorneys and has positioned us for significant growth. With a client base ranging from elite boutique firms to global legal powerhouses, we are expanding our team of legal marketing contractors to support this trajectory.

These remote, contract positions offer flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to collaborate with diverse clients without the constraints of a traditional office setting, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while contributing to high-impact initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies for mid-size and AmLaw firms
  • Create and execute customized marketing infrastructure plans for clients
  • Lead strategic marketing and business development projects for key clients
  • Collaborate with attorneys to develop thought leadership content, presentations, brochures, web copy, and other marketing materials
  • Organize industry conferences, webinars, podcasts, and other events
  • Conduct business development coaching
  • Implement social media strategies
  • Manage ads and sponsorships
  • Measure campaign performance using analytics and recommend improvements
  • Lead awards and directory submissions
  • Draft pitch materials, RFP responses, and capability statements
  • Lead brand and website redesigns
  • Conduct marketing and business development training sessions
  • Collaborate on cross-selling initiatives with attorneys
  • Work closely with junior team members, providing direction and ensuring deliverable alignment
Minimum Requirements:
  • 5-8 years of law firm experience; large law firm experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or related field
  • Strategic planning and tactical execution skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional project management abilities
  • Client service focus
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and analytics tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines
