Job summary

Praxent is seeking a senior software lead to join our remote team in the United States. You will help accelerate sprint delivery, mentor peers, and guide architecture choices across UI, API and database layers.

Expect to drive technical discussions, propose robust designs, and ensure reliable deployments. Ideal candidates have 5–8 years of professional experience, strong client-facing capabilities, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.

Qualifications

• Proven proficiency with two or more of: UI design, REST APIs, databases or cloud/servers.
• 5-8 years of professional software development experience with best practices.
• Experience leading developers and delivering feature-rich software.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the team’s capacity to deliver stories by end of sprint.
• Mentor junior developers through code reviews and collaboration.
• Document plans for risks, promote best practices, and increase velocity.
• Serve as technical SME in sprint, managing pipelines and deployments.
• Present demos of APIs and deployment automation during reviews.
