Job summary

Rainforest Trust is a remote-first organization seeking a Conservation Grants Associate (Latin America) to support grant coordination and alignment with regional conservation priorities.

You will communicate with partners to manage running agreements, review applications, and help leaders and donors by delivering vital project data and insights. Occasional travel may be required and the role reports to the Senior Conservation Grants Officer (Latin America).

Qualifications

• Experience with protected area creation, expansion, and land titling.
• Experience managing grants and complex projects in conservation or nonprofit.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and adapt grant management of regional agreements.
• Communicate with grant recipients to administer running agreements smoothly.
• Identify issues early to optimize team time and mitigate consequences.
• Review project applications and assess viability for regional strategy.
• Distill information from partners to leadership and donors to support planning.
