Job summary

The Nature Conservancy is seeking a Donor Relations Manager II for Latin America to partner with regional leadership and advance major gifts in Belize, Guatemala, and Mexico. This role emphasizes strategic donor engagement, proposal development, and cross-functional collaboration across the global development team.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years in fundraising, fluent English and Spanish, and strong project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years related experience or equivalent combination.
• Experience building and maintaining long-term relationships with donors, volunteers, and staff.
• Experience in understanding an individual’s interests, capacity and potential for helping TNC meet its goals, and act appropriately to tie those interests with TNC´s work.
• Experience generating reports and analysing and interpreting the data.
• Experience and ability to work across departments and multiple teams.
• Experience, coursework, or other training in fundraising principles and practices.
• Fluency in English and Spanish and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience.
• Strong project management skills including coordinating activities led by others and managing deadlines.
• Familiarity with the Latin America Region.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Associate Director of Development for Latin America in achieving the 20M (stretch) goal for FY27 and help double philanthropic revenue by 2030.
• Assist in engaging Relationship Managers, Business Units, Divisions and Regions to discover, cultivate and steward international prospects with capacity to give over $100,000.
• Support donor and leadership engagement opportunities in Belize, Guatemala and Mexico including meetings, trips, events, and leadership visits.
• Project manage internal review processes for solicitations and gifts for assigned country markets.
• Draft personalized donor correspondence and assist with donor proposals and stewardship reports.
• Coordinate fundraising projects across departments and teams, ensuring accountability and timely delivery.
• Maintain donor records in the database, produce reports and analyze data to inform strategy.
• Persuasively convey TNC’s mission to diverse audiences and ensure compliant engagement.
