Job summary

Welocalize, Inc seeks a Tech Linguistic Tester to proofread and edit localized content for grammar and style, and to translate from English where needed. You will also check user interfaces for functional issues and report defects through internal tracking tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a related field or combination of education and experience.
Ability to work onsite and/or remote depending on location.
Native-level or fully bilingual fluency in required language(s).
Strong English written and verbal skills; familiarity with QA/testing terminology.

Responsibilities

Proofread and edit localized content for grammar, typos, punctuation, and consistency.
Translate content from English to the target language when needed.
Write and report bugs using the internal database system.
Evaluate translations in context of software, mobile apps, and documentation.
Adhere to client style guides, glossaries, and QA checklists.
