Jobot is seeking a Remote Labor & Employment Counsel or Partner for California litigation at an established national firm. The role advises and represents management-side clients in CA wage-and-hour matters and state and federal litigation, with travel to be discussed.

The firm is building the California L&E seat in-house and offers a fully remote arrangement across the US. Candidates must have California Bar admission, willingness to pursue a DC Bar waiver, 5+ years of substantive labor and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of substantive labor and employment litigation experience, with CA wage and hour experience.

Responsibilities

• Advise management-side clients on California labor and employment matters, including wage-and-hour, meal/rest breaks, and PAGA compliance.
• Serve as first- or second-chair in state and federal court litigation and arbitration; travel occasionally.
• Defend EEO, discrimination, harassment, and restrictive covenant matters; support nationwide commercial litigation.
• Share travel with DC-based partners as needed.
