Ladders is seeking a Manager II, Engineering - Kubernetes Platform to lead a team responsible for the reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of our Kubernetes-based cloud infrastructure. This remote role partners with stakeholders to shape strategy and improve automation.

You will guide architectural decisions, build self-service tooling, and drive production readiness while developing engineers and fostering an inclusive culture. Equity is part of the compensation package.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing engineering teams in infrastructure or platform engineering.
• Experience with large-scale cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes platforms.
• Proven ability to set multi-quarter technical strategies and deliver results.
• Strong reliability mindset with experience in production systems.
• Experience leading cross-functional infrastructure programs and communicating trade-offs.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI to improve work efficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team focused on Kubernetes platform infrastructure and support systems.
• Establish a 12-month strategy, roadmap, and success metrics for the team.
• Enhance reliability, security, scalability, and operational efficiency across the platform.
• Drive architectural and technical decisions, involving subject matter experts as needed.
• Build automation and self-service paths to minimize manual work.
• Set high standards for production operations, including incident response.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical and operational challenges.
• Recruit, coach, and develop engineers while fostering an inclusive team environment.
