Ladders is seeking a Manager II, Engineering - Kubernetes Platform to lead a team responsible for the reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of our Kubernetes-based cloud infrastructure. This remote role partners with stakeholders to shape strategy and improve automation.

You will guide architectural decisions, build self-service tooling, and drive production readiness while developing engineers and fostering an inclusive culture. Equity is part of the compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing engineering teams in infrastructure or platform engineering.
• Experience with large-scale cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes platforms.
• Proven ability to set multi-quarter technical strategies and deliver results.
• Strong reliability mindset with experience in production systems.
• Experience leading cross-functional infrastructure programs and communicating trade-offs.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI to improve work efficiency.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Manager II, Engineering - Kubernetes Platform to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. This leader will guide a platform engineering organization responsible for the reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of critical cloud infrastructure. The role will shape the long-term strategy for Kubernetes-based systems while balancing engineering standards, service stability, and business needs. You will partner closely with technical stakeholders across the organization to make sound architectural decisions, improve automation, and strengthen the team's ability to deliver resilient platform capabilities.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $177,185 – $364,795 annually
