Job summary

829 Studios is seeking a mid-level E-Commerce Email Marketing Strategist to own lifecycle marketing on Klaviyo and lead performance conversations. You will collaborate with Client Services, Web, Paid Search, and Paid Social, shaping strategies and automation for ecommerce brands.

You will drive planning, execution, and optimization of email campaigns, while mentoring teammates and contributing thought leadership in email and automation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of email marketing experience, agency experience preferred.
• 2+ years of Klaviyo experience.
• Experience leading and executing strategy for an e-commerce brand.
• Familiar with ESPs and marketing automation tools (Marketo, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, Braze).
• Proven track record with cross-functional collaboration and customer satisfaction.
• Experience with marketing automation, email, and/or lead generation campaigns.
• SMS experience with Sakari and Attentive.

Responsibilities

• Execute lifecycle marketing plans to meet schedule, performance, and budget goals.
• Review monthly performance reports and recommend optimizations.
• Stay organized; manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Identify issues and propose solutions to campaigns or projects.
• Manage all elements of email marketing initiatives and calendars.
• Create email calendars integrated with other marketing initiatives.
• Own client relationships and define campaign vision with the team.
• Ensure timely deployment of targeted email campaigns.
• Multitask, prioritize, and coordinate across agile deadlines.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams.
• Own email marketing thought leadership.
