This independent contractor role emphasizes a quiet, secure home office and strict adherence to client protocols. Some calls may be emotional or long.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Khana and English with cultural dynamics.
• Ability to assess regional and accent differences for effective communication.
• Excellent listening, retention and note‑taking skills for accuracy.
• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Applicants may require background check and/or drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to interpreting sessions and maintain a friendly, professional manner.
• Render accurate concepts per interpretation protocol, avoiding omissions/additions.
• Speak clearly in both languages with proper pronunciation and etiquette.
• Maintain professionalism and calm during sessions, including emergencies.
• Remain punctual and available during work hours.
• Follow client instructions and avoid LEP interaction without permission.
• Understand protocol for Medical, Insurance, Finance and Law industries.
• Demonstrate commitment to diversity and cultural sensitivity.
• Some calls may be highly emotional; provide required service levels in a dynamic environment.
