Job summary

Lowcountry Connections Academy (LCCA) is seeking a certified Elementary School Teacher (K-5) to work from home in South Carolina. You will consult with learning coaches and students to ensure successful completion of the instructional program, using diverse curricula and communication tools.

Responsibilities include grading, progress reports, parent conferences, updating Personal Learning Plans, and coordinating with specialty staff to adapt instruction.

Qualifications

• SC Elementary School (K-5) teaching certification required.
• Must reside in South Carolina.
• Gifted and Talented Endorsement highly recommended.
• Strong technology skills with MS Office and Google Suite.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Highly organized and punctual.
• Customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work remotely and some evenings as needed.
• Willingness to travel for school/state testing events.

Responsibilities

• Manage instructional programs for K-5 students in a fully remote setting.
• Conduct asynchronous web conferences and synchronous instruction to support learning.
• Complete grading, generate progress reports, and hold parent conferences on a timely basis.
• Communicate regularly with parents, students, and teachers to update Learning Plans and schedules.
• Maintain detailed student records, attendance, and contacts in the system.
• Collaborate with team members to develop enrichment activities and modifications as needed.
• Assist with State Testing organization and administration as directed.
• Participate in student recruiting sessions and other school marketing activities.
• Attend field trips and community activities when required.
