Qualifications

• Certified to teach Middle School Math in South Carolina
• SC certification required for grade level responsibilities
• Gifted and Talented Endorsement highly recommended
• Strong technology skills with MS Office and Google Suite
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Highly organized and punctual
• Willingness to travel occasionally for school/state testing events
• Ability to work remotely, if necessary

Responsibilities

• Support instructional program with asynchronous and synchronous sessions
• Complete grading, progress reports and parent conferences
• Communicate with parents, students, and teachers to update Personal Learning Plans
• Develop knowledge of K-12 curriculum and specific grades supported
• Provide additional assistance and alternate strategies for students
• Maintain accurate student records and attendance data
• Collaborate with staff to create enrichment activities and modifications
• Develop virtual school community and participate in testing activities
• Participate in student recruitment events and other school outreach
• Attend field trips and community activities when needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
