South Carolina Bridge Connections Academy (SCBCA) seeks a full-time Technology/Computer Science Teacher to work remotely from home, serving SC students in grades 9-12. The role involves asynchronous and synchronous instruction, grading, progress reporting, and frequent communication with learning coaches and families.

Ideal candidates are SC-certified teachers with strong tech skills (MS Office, Google Suite), excellent communication, and flexibility for occasional travel and after-hours support

Qualifications

• Certified to teach Technology/Computer Science in SC (appropriate to grade level).
• Strong technology skills with MS Office and Google Suite.
• Excellent oral and written communication; highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Manage asynchronous and synchronous instructional sessions to support students.
• Grade and report progress; conduct parent conferences.
• Communicate regularly with parents, students and teachers to update learning plans.
• Develop knowledge of K-12 curriculum and grade-level requirements.
• Assist students and parents with daily assignments and projects.
• Keep student records up-to-date and maintain attendance data.
• Collaborate with staff to develop enrichment activities and modifications.
• Participate in state testing organization and administration.
• Engage in student recruitment sessions and related marketing activities.
• Attend field trips and community activities for families.
