Job summary

Lowcountry Connections Academy (LCCA) is a tuition-free, full-time virtual school serving SC students in grades K-12. As a High School Math Teacher, you will work from home delivering core mathematics instruction and supporting students, families, and learning coaches throughout the instructional program.

Responsibilities include grading, progress reporting, parent conferences, and regular communication to tailor Personal Learning Plans.

Qualifications

• Certified to teach High School Math in South Carolina
• Must reside in South Carolina
• Strong technology skills with MS Office & Google Suite
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Highly organized and punctual
• Willingness to travel occasionally for school & testing events
• Ability to work remotely and some evenings as needed
• Experience with virtual instruction tools is a plus

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction from home using asynchronous and synchronous online sessions
• Complete grading, progress reports, and parent conferences in a timely manner
• Communicate with parents, students, and teachers to update personal learning plans
• Maintain detailed student records, attendance, and contacts
• Collaborate with team to modify programs for student needs
• Support state testing administration and event planning
• Participate in student recruitment and related activities
• Perform other duties as assigned
