Job summary

Catapult Learning seeks a part-time Tutor- Remote to deliver live, synchronous instruction to K-12 students via a virtual classroom. You will use company-created curricula and models to engage students and foster academic growth.

You will build strong relationships, provide timely feedback, monitor progress, and communicate with families and school staff. This fully remote role offers flexible hours year-round or in summer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Experience teaching or tutoring is required.
• Experience with K-12 students is preferred.
• Able to engage students in a live virtual learning environment.
• Proficient with technology for virtual instruction, communication, and documentation.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Successful completion of required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver live, synchronous instruction in a virtual classroom using prescribed methods.
• Build relationships with students through consistent communication and engagement.
• Provide real-time feedback and support to promote academic progress.
• Monitor and document student progress using online data systems.
• Communicate with parents/guardians and school personnel regarding performance.
• Attend required virtual trainings, meetings, and coaching sessions.
• Maintain accurate student records and comply with company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
