Job summary

Catapult Learning is seeking a part-time tutor to provide live, synchronous virtual instruction to K-12 students from a fully remote setting. You will use Company-designed curriculum and engage students, delivering personalized support and feedback.

Strong belief in all students' potential, solid communication and organizational skills, and prior tutoring or teaching experience are essential. Background checks must be completed successfully.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Teaching or tutoring experience required.
• Experience working with K-12 students.
• Strong belief that all students can learn.
• Ability to engage students in a live virtual learning environment.
• Proficiency with technology for virtual instruction, communication, and documentation.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Successful completion of required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver live, synchronous instruction in a virtual classroom using prescribed instructional methods.
• Build strong relationships with students through consistent communication and engagement.
• Provide real-time feedback and support to promote academic progress.
• Monitor and document student progress using online data and record-keeping systems.
• Communicate with parents/guardians and school personnel regarding student performance.
• Attend required virtual trainings, meetings, and coaching sessions.
• Maintain accurate student records and comply with Company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
