Job summary

CogniTutor, LLC is hiring part-time contract tutors to provide academic support to K–12 students. Flexible scheduling, consistent students, and meaningful work that makes a real impact.

Tutors work 1:1 or in small groups, use assessments to determine instructional levels, and submit brief session notes. Roles offer after-school, evenings, or weekend slots with both remote and in-person opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• English language proficiency required.
• Strong skills in math, reading, or both.
• Reliable availability (minimum 3 hours/week).
• Comfortable using Zoom and basic technology.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Reliable transportation for in-person roles.
• Experience tutoring or working with students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow expectations set by partner agencies.
• Use required assessments to determine instructional levels.
• Submit brief session notes with required data.
