Catapult Learning is seeking a remote Tutor to deliver live, synchronous instruction to K-12 students via our virtual classroom. This part-time role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to impact student learning from any location.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree and has teaching or tutoring experience, with comfort using technology to engage students and track progress. You will collaborate with parents and school staff and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Teaching or tutoring experience required.
• Experience working with K-12 students.
• Ability to engage students in a live virtual learning environment.
• Proficiency with technology for virtual instruction, communication, and documentation.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Successful completion of required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver live, synchronous instruction in a virtual classroom using prescribed instructional methods.
• Build strong relationships with students through consistent communication and engagement.
• Provide real-time feedback and support to promote academic progress.
• Monitor and document student progress using online data and record-keeping systems.
• Communicate with parents/guardians and school personnel regarding student performance.
• Attend required virtual trainings, meetings, and coaching sessions.
• Maintain accurate student records and comply with Company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
