Job summary

Pearson is hiring a Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist to provide virtual therapy to K-12 students enrolled in Connections Academy virtual public schools. The SLP will use webcams and the company’s Education Management System to manage caseloads.

Requirements include MA/MS in Speech Language Pathology, ASHA CCC, and active state licensure, with 2+ years in a K-12 setting. Remote work from home is supported with required equipment and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• MA or MS in Speech Language Pathology and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence.
• Active/valid state licensure in Speech Pathology in residence state.
• 2+ years experience in K-12 school setting.
• Ability to obtain and maintain multiple state certifications and clearances.
• Strong technology skills and excellent communication, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality speech language services to assigned students in a virtual environment.
• Plan and implement individual and group therapy in a virtual setting.
• Maintain accurate documentation of interventions and progress reports.
• Coordinate with school staff and parents to meet IEP goals.
• Meet biweekly with supervisor and adhere to data protection policies.
