Job summary

United Auto Credit is seeking a Junior Underwriter for a remote role based in California. You will call dealerships on approved or conditionally approved applications, assess risk, and help convert opportunities into contracts while maintaining excellent dealer relationships.

Responsibilities include closing the loop with dealership partners, ensuring contracts meet program guidelines, and collaborating with Funding and Sales to move deals forward.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Auto finance or financial services experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Close the loop by calling dealership partners to rehash approvals and capture the contract.
• Match the right fit by ensuring contracts meet program specs or counteroffer to price accordingly.
• Be a trusted partner by collaborating with Area Managers, Sales/Marketing, and dealerships to drive success.
• Review deals with dealers and help structure or restructure them for the best outcome.
• Gather key information to recommend alternative products or programs when appropriate.
