Job summary

TrustedQA, Inc. is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to support a DoD program by maintaining and enhancing Java-based applications in a cloud environment.

You will work with the technical lead and team to troubleshoot issues and support modernization efforts while learning Python, APEX and AI-assisted development practices. The role expects a solid Java foundation, strong problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn new technologies.

Qualifications

• 1 year IT experience with a bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with software development lifecycle
• Experience with Java software design, development, testing, and deployment
• Experience with web-based applications, client/server applications, or cloud-hosted systems
• Active DoD Secret clearance required

Responsibilities

• Support a DoD program by maintaining and enhancing Java-based applications in a cloud environment.
• Collaborate with the technical lead and development team to troubleshoot issues and support modernization efforts.
• Learn and apply Python, APEX and other tools; contribute to AI-assisted development practices.
